Recent Projects Completed by the Parish Council
The parish council works hard for the community it represents. Some of the recent projects completed are:
Installation of a New Pump Track with Additional Loop
With help from Local residents and using the 106 monies secured from the Orchard Estate the Pump track opened on the 7th September 2024. Recognising the popularity of it the parish council used further 106 monies to add an additional loop in December 2024.
Restoration of Phone box with relocation of Defibrillator
Upon securing a grant the old telephone box was restored installed outside the Community Centre in April 2025. The Phonebox has been beautifully painted with the original shade used back in the 1930s and is now a great community asset housing one of our life saving defibs
Christmas Tree
A new parish Christmas Tree was erected outside of the Community Centre in March 2024.
Ditch Clearing
Using CIL money secured from recent developments the Parish Council arranged for the ditch from Roseleigh to Watery Lane to be cleared in March 2026. This will allow more room for water run off and reduce the risk of flooding in the area.
